Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Analyst to support the Portfolio Acquisition Executive on the RAM and CIWS programs. You will lead budgeting, execution, and financial reporting efforts, interfacing with the Government Financial team to ensure funding is tracked and obligations are managed.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 7 years of Navy/DoD financial support experience, proficiency with MS Teams/SharePoint and strong communication skills. U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years financial support services experience with Navy/DoW programs.
  • Proficient in MS Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft Suite products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and detail orientation for leadership support.
  • Ability to obtain a SECRET US Government Clearance; US Citizenship required.
  • Familiarity with Navy budgeting and execution tools including ERP and NEPS.
  • Ability to travel less than 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for programming, budgeting and execution support and interface with the Government Financial team.
  • Support program execution activities across funding areas (SCN, RDT&E, OM&N, WPN, OPN, Army).
  • Maintain financial tools to track funding, execution status, obligations and expenditures.
  • Prepare financial data for budget requirements, Program Plan Execution and status reports.
  • Execute and track funding and cost reporting using DoW/NEPS systems.
  • Assist in resolving financial execution issues and shortfalls.
  • Prepare Financial Manager execution/obligation reports.
  • Lead NEPS TPS planning and task planning sheets processes.
