The US Navy seeks Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs) to collect, translate, transcribe and analyze foreign language data to inform national security and fleet operations.

CTIs train at Defense Language Institute and Information Warfare Training Center, Monterey and Goodfellow; they may deploy aboard ships or submarines and work with advanced AI and classified materials during their careers.

• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy surface ships and submarines, based on assignment requirements.
