Job summary

US Navy Cryptologic Technicians Interpretive (CTIs) translate, interpret, transcribe and analyze foreign language communications to support Fleet and Joint Force commanders worldwide.

CTIs work with advanced AI/ML systems, handle classified material, and may perform temporary duty aboard surface ships and submarines. Training includes DLI and Goodfellow, with opportunities for progression in the Information Warfare community.

Qualifications

• Interest in learning foreign languages and displaying strong character.
• Above-average writing and speaking ability.
• Willingness to work with classified material and new AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate radio receivers, recording devices, terminals and communications systems.
• Translate, interpret and transcribe foreign language data.
• Analyze and report technical intelligence for fleet/national use.
• Work with classified materials and AI/ML systems.
• Perform temporary duty aboard Navy ships/submarines as required.
