Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 7 years of piping design experience.
• Associates degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs components or portions of piping systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing.
• Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares rough layouts and sketches for design proposals.
• Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups to ensure ease of manufacture and material availability.
