Job summary

Associate’s Degree with 3 years of experience is required; extensive naval design experience and proficiency in 2D/3D CAD tools are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 2D and 3D CAD proficiency with AutoCAD or Siemens NX.
• Experience developing and checking ship construction drawings or models.
• Knowledge of weld/NDT and material selection is required.

Responsibilities

• Design components or portions of systems and modify designs to improve products.
• Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material and planning groups.
• Prepare sketches and layouts to present design proposals; ensure manufacturability and specifications.
