Job summary

MBC is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Systems Analyst in the Washington, D.C. area to support the Navy’s Surface Ship Modernization program. You will provide business and financial guidance, help develop budgets, and coordinate data calls with stakeholders.

The role requires at least 10 years of Navy program experience, DoD clearance eligibility, and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint. Travel domestically and internationally may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience providing business and financial support to U.S. Navy program offices.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets by measuring organizational performance and assessing the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
• Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and objectives; may use cost-benefit analysis.
• Develop guidelines and policies for budgets and conduct training on new procedures.
• Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings and conferences.
• Coordinate data calls and communicate information to government leadership for action.
