Job summary

MBC in the Washington, D.C. area is seeking a Mid-Level Database Management Analyst to support data analytics for the U.S. Navy program office focused on Surface Ship Modernization and Sustainment.

The role requires collaborating with stakeholders and maintaining robust databases on site in Arlington, VA. The candidate should have 5+ years of Navy analytics experience, strong Word/Excel/PowerPoint/SharePoint skills, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of data analytics support for U.S. Navy program offices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Eligibility to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Administer, test, implement, and coordinate changes to computer databases.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard databases.
• Maintain databases within an application area, individually or as part of a team.
• Plan internal and external engagements, including meetings, conferences, and events.
• Assist in the development of briefing material and drafting documents.
• Coordinate, monitor, and execute data calls and communicate results to leadership.
• Evaluate operational deficiencies and coordinate improvements.
• Transcribe and summarize meeting minutes and assist with action items.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate meetings and travel arrangements.
• Attend meetings and program reviews and assist with presentations.
