Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Naval Architect to perform analyses and deliver naval architectural outputs in support of ship design and related floating structures. The role requires strong knowledge of hull form, hydrodynamics, weights and stability, and the ability to integrate inputs across disciplines.

U.S. citizenship and an active DoW Secret clearance, plus a Bachelor's in Naval Architecture or Ocean Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience, are needed to join our

Qualifications

• Active DoW Secret security clearance required or ability to obtain.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture or related engineering field.
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience in naval architecture.

Responsibilities

• Apply naval architectural knowledge to develop analyses and deliverables per regulations and standards.
• Develop hull form geometry, lines plans, hydrostatics, and powering estimates.
• Perform weight, stability, and damage analyses and model test planning.
• Coordinate design inputs across disciplines to produce balanced solutions.
• Prepare documentation and participate in project reviews and briefings.
