Job summary

Serco is seeking an Acquisition Management Specialist in the National Capital Region to support U.S. Navy acquisition programs, working within an integrated government-industry team. You will gain exposure to defense logistics, documentation, and data analysis while building experience in maintenance planning, technical data management, and training support.

The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Research defense acquisition logistics management instructions and apply to tasks.
• Support program office's annual Task Planning and Allocation Review; prepare briefing materials.
• Update weekly briefs, develop presentations, and maintain records management.
• Contribute to analysis and management of incoming/outgoing action items from meetings and emails.
• Draft and review Purchase Requisitions; input information into system.
• Assist in developing Acquisition Strategy, Plan, Justification & Approval, and SOWs.
• Collect, display, and interpret program logistics data/metrics.
• Grow into additional responsibilities and perform assigned duties.
