Job summary

TalentMinded Inc. in the United States is seeking a Consultant, Daily Valuation & NAV Accounting to support NAV calculations and daily reporting for institutional real estate clients. You will interact with appraisers, valuation teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely client deliverables.

This hybrid role is open to candidates nationwide, with a preference for Chicago. You will develop expertise at the intersection of commercial real estate valuation, accounting, analytics, and NAV

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, financial analysis, and commercial real estate.
• Understanding how property performance, debt, valuations, and other financial inputs affect NAV and investment reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting or financial systems and quick learning of new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support daily valuation and NAV calculations. Review financial information, property values, debt positions, equity calculations, and working capital adjustments to support daily NAV reporting. Primarily using Excel and system outputs to ensure accurate valuation reporting.
• Coordinate valuation updates with appraisers, engagement teams, clients and other stakeholders to collect and incorporate updated valuations and information.
• Support material event analysis by identifying and assessing leases, bankruptcies, and other market or property developments that may affect valuation and daily processes.
• Own assigned daily valuation engagements by managing timelines, organizing information, tracking deliverables, and communicating with teams and clients.
• Improve workflows, templates, and documentation to standardize, automate, and make processes more scalable.
• Identify opportunities to modernize workflows, templates, processes, and evaluate AI/tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Develop expertise and contribute to the team, with potential to become a subject matter expert as the practice grows.
