Coral Hospitality, Inc. seeks a dedicated animal care professional for Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Park Manager, the role performs husbandry duties and handles the Ambassador Animal collection, schedules interpretive programs, and leads educational activities for park visitors. The position requires conducting educational programs for field trips and informal meet-and-greets, while ensuring a safe, clean environment and high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience with animal care and handling.
• Ability to design and present educational programs.
• Strong guest-service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily husbandry duties including cleaning, diet prep, feeding, enrichment, training, handling, and basic veterinary care of the animal collection (including raptors and reptiles).
• Maintaining records in the animal care log.
• Scheduling of programs and activities.
• Performing educational programs for field trips, outreaches, and informal meet-and-greets.
• Creating and implementing a diverse and ongoing series of educational programs, workshops, and special events for the Park.
• Provides world class guest service in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
• Works closely with the Assistant Park Manager to ensure visitor and guest satisfaction.
• Provides a safe and sanitary environment for visitors, guests, and employees.
