A leading company in environmental consulting is seeking Natural Resource Technicians in Utah for temporary roles focused on field surveys and data collection. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in biology or ecology, possess field data collection experience, and be able to work in various outdoor environments. The position requires flexibility in scheduling and a strong commitment to safety while collecting data on flora and fauna across multiple states.
SWCA Environmental Consultants is expanding our team and looking for Natural Resource Technicianswith backgrounds in botany, ecology, wildlife biology, and/or environmental science to support our Salt Lake City, or Vernal, Utah offices.These are temporary, hourly positions that will support a variety of projects and field efforts throughout the Intermountain West with additional travel to locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma. Our work is dynamic and covers a wide range of field data collection needs for research, industry, and federal agency clients.
Candidates local to Utah (or neighboring states), familiar with flora and fauna of Utah, with 4×4 truck, ATV, and trailer towing experience are strongly preferred. Successful candidates will also need to be responsive to flexible scheduling needs and multi day overnight travel.
The ability to pass a drug screening is REQUIRED.
