We are looking for an ambitious, team-oriented individual for our Release of Information – ROI STAT Fax processing team. This fully remote role involves processing high-volume medical records requests from various providers nationwide, ensuring timely and accurate release of information to support patient care.
As an ROI Technician, your responsibilities include compiling, processing, maintaining, and confirming the proper release of patients’ medical records remotely. You will support Document Imaging, ensure regulatory compliance, reconcile medical record activity, and maintain records in centralized locations. Familiarity with Cerner and/or MRO is a bonus!
Location: Remote (hours based on AZ MST timezone). Full-time, 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri, with rotating holidays/weekends.
Requirements: 1 year Medical Records experience and 1 year release of information experience. Must reside in approved Banner states.

Position Summary: Handles high-volume release of health information in compliance with HIPAA, federal, and state laws.
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of health information practices, with 1+ years in medical records or equivalent education/experience. Effective communication, organizational, and technical skills required.
Preferred Qualifications: Enrollment in RHIT/RHIA program, medical terminology knowledge, and additional release of information experience preferred.
