Job summary

The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking a Natural Resources Manager I to provide front-line support for the Conservation Stewardship Program. This role coordinates with ORC field staff to deliver professional services and assist in developing Conservation Management Plans.

Work with the Office Director to evaluate state policies, lead program studies, travel statewide for inspections, and supervise staff. A hybrid work model is available.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related biological science.
• Requires five years of progressively responsible professional experience in fish, wildlife, forestry, or natural heritage resource management.
• Preferred qualifications include leadership and communication with diverse partners.

• Oversees information systems used to facilitate the review of applications.
