Job Description

We are seeking energetic, passionate people who want to play a key role for the position of Natural Resources Engineer 2 within the Division of Mineral Resources Management, headquartered in Guernsey County. What you will do:

• Work under the general direction of a registered professional engineer
• Perform design calculations
• Utilize Computer Aided Drafting Design (CADD) to assist with design work
• Prepare construction plans for Abandoned Mine Land (AML) reclamation projects
• Obtain and/or assist staff in obtaining applicable permits
• Conduct inspection oversight of AML project construction as needed
• Starting hourly pay of $34.53/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 7.5 years of service, with an end salary of $50.66/hr.
• There may also be cost of living adjustments (COLA) applied. Longevity pay supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. For more details, refer to the OCSEA pay range schedule & longevity rates.

Qualifications
