Job summary

Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) seeks 4 Customer Service Representatives at Entry or Senior level in the Division of External Services, based in Janesville, Milwaukee or Oshkosh, WI.

The role focuses on assisting customers with licensing, vehicle registration and related services, with a strong emphasis on service quality and policy interpretation. Remote work may be considered with supervisor approval.

Qualifications

• Responding to customer questions and/or complaints by phone, email and/or in person.
• Cash handling, sales reconciliation, business finances, and/or checking account management.
• Computer programs and/or web-based systems (e.g., reservation software, licensing software, customer relation management programs, customer service software, etc.)

Responsibilities

• For Wisconsin residents, assist customers with questions, products and services related to hunting, fishing, trapping, and other resources.
• Interpret and apply state statutes, rules, and department policies to customer requests.
• Deliver courteous, accurate information ensuring a positive customer experience.
