Job summary

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is seeking a Regional Acquisition and Development Specialist in Grand Rapids. This full-time role focuses on leading real estate and land development activities, coordinating with Parks and Trails, and supporting OHV programs.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree and two years of para-professional or professional experience in land management, reporting, and budget/process management.
  • Bachelor’s degree may substitute for one year of the required experience.
  • Knowledge of outdoor recreation facilities and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate regional real estate responsibilities and land acquisitions to support work plans and policies.
  • Provide staff support for land management and acquire opportunities via tax forfeit and road vacations.
  • Assist with work plans and budgets to align with program goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to advance DNR and PAT program objectives.
