Job summary

The Natural Resource Project Manager position is with Indiana's Department of Natural Resources, Division of Reclamation, based in Jasonville, Indiana. You will oversee design and construction projects related to coal mining restoration, orphan well remediation, and environmental cleanup.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of engineering, construction technology, agronomy, forestry, water and wastewater operations, geology and hydrology.
• Working knowledge of state and federal laws regulating restoration and health and safety requirements for active construction areas
• Broad knowledge of environmental protection principles, practices, theories, and regulations
• Knowledge and expertise in GIS software
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively orally and in writing and create professional quality reports
• Valid driver's license required; at least 4 years of experience in natural resources, environmental sciences, project management, or civil engineering
