Job summary

Sprague is seeking a Natural Gas Scheduler Northeast based in Portsmouth, NH. Responsibilities include forecasting customer requirements, coordinating with traders, submitting nominations to LDCs and pipelines, and tracking gas flow to minimize imbalance costs.

The role requires on-call 24 hours with rotating weekend duty. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in business or math, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or math is required.
• Strong mathematical aptitude is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Forecast daily customer requirements and communicate changes to traders.
• Nominate daily gas quantities to LDCs and pipelines under supervision.
• Develop knowledge of pipeline/LDC rules, procedures, and timelines in the market area.
• Track, reconcile nominations, deliveries, and imbalances; verify usage.
