Job summary
Repsol is seeking a Natural Gas Originator to join the Gas Trading North America (GTNA) team in the United States. You will assist in identifying, developing, and closing term natural gas sales, purchases, transportation, storage and asset management transactions with wholesale customers.
You will collaborate with GTNA's trading team to shape regional strategies, expand the customer base on regional pipelines, and optimize the portfolio of gas assets and capacity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong verbal and written communication; present ideas to team and upper management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in natural gas origination and/or trading.
- Knowledge of Southeast pipelines and interstate gas systems.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline tariffs and regulations affecting gas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel 35%–60%.
Responsibilities
- Assist in structuring term natural gas sales, supply, and transportation transactions.
- Collaborate with GTNA trading team to shape regional strategies and optimize portfolios.
- Expand the business and customer base on regional pipelines.
- Structure asset management arrangements for gas supply, storage and transport.
- Develop new products and services to optimize GTNA assets.
- Evaluate long-term transportation capacity positions and advise management.
