Job summary

TC Energy Marketing Inc. in Houston seeks a Natural Gas Originator to join the U.S. Gas Marketing group. You will identify and execute structured transactions across Midwest, Northeast, or Texas & Gulf Coast markets, building a robust origination pipeline and delivering value.

The role partners with Trading, Contracts, Legal, Risk and Credit to close deals, leveraging regional fundamentals and market intelligence to support risk decisions and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, engineering, marketing or related field.
• 7+ years in natural gas origination, marketing or trading (Midwest, Northeast or Texas & Gulf Coast).
• Strong understanding of regional supply/demand, pipeline flows and market dynamics.
• Built customer relationships with utilities, generators, pipelines and storage facilities.
• Experience structuring transactions across upstream, midstream and downstream.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and execute structured natural gas transactions (term supply, sales, transport, storage, asset-backed).
• Build and maintain a robust origination pipeline aligned with commercial strategy.
• Expand the company’s physical and commercial presence across key regions.
• Collaborate with Trading to define regional strategy and optimize portfolios.
• Structure and close asset management agreements maximizing value for customers and portfolio.
