Job summary

ShalePro Energy Services is seeking a Natural Gas Compressor Mechanic to maintain gathering system compressor stations across multiple sites. The role involves overhauls, engine/compressor work, and daily equipment documentation.

Expect travel to WV, OH, PA with weekend/holiday shifts as needed and on-call readiness. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain structural, mechanical and electrical equipment and/or auxiliary equipment at Natural Gas Facilities.
• Have strong mechanical aptitude with oil and gas background and ability to use a wide range of mechanical tools and test equipment.
• Safely and accurately operate equipment as assigned.
• Identify, report, and mitigate problems or hazardous conditions during disassembly, assembly, and test set-up.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on mechanical tooling and equipment.
• Provide training to other company personnel on proper operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Interpret lubricating oil, coolant, and other operating reports.
• Maintain and control suitable spare parts inventory, tooling, etc.
