Job summary

Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Native AI Developer to build and deploy AI-native applications, copilots, and intelligent agents, leveraging LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or Llama.

You will design RAG pipelines, integrate with enterprise data sources and APIs, create prompts and multi-agent workflows, and optimize models for performance, accuracy, and cost, partnering with business and engineering teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Understanding of AI agent development and orchestration.
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $100K-150Kdepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
