Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Native AI Developer to build and deploy AI-native applications, copilots, and intelligent agents. You will work with LLMs like GPT, Claude, Gemini, or Llama, and design RAG pipelines using vector databases while integrating with enterprise data sources and APIs.

You will optimize models for performance and cost, and collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and AI development.
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG pipelines with vector databases.
• Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Understanding of AI agent development and orchestration.
• Experience with REST APIs and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $100K-150Kdepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
