Bank of Hope in Irvine, CA seeks a National Sales Manager to lead the Wholesale Mortgage Channel and drive loan originations through a broad network of mortgage brokers across the U.S. The role demands 10+ years in senior sales management and a deep knowledge of wholesale mortgage operations.

The position will recruit, train, and mentor account executives and brokers, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with IT to streamline processes while meeting production and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10+ years of senior sales management experience.
• Solid network of mortgage broker companies and wholesale account executives.

Responsibilities

• Manage wholesale mortgage account executive team.
• Develop and improve loan origination processes with IT-related projects.
• Oversee daily wholesale channel loan pipeline to meet deadlines.
• Ensure mortgage loan process complies with wholesale regulations.
• Meet or exceed wholesale production, revenue and profitability goals.
• Develop strategic plans to meet wholesale channel sales and operation objectives.
• Recruit, interview, hire, and train account executives and brokers.
• Provide guidance on portfolio loan products and third-party loan origination system.
• Address non-performance issues with improvement measures.
• Maintain performance scorecards and establish cross-line partnerships.
