Job summary

Haley & Aldrich seeks a Principal to lead the national water treatment practice. You will guide advanced water treatment systems for groundwater, surface water, and industrial wastewater, directing a nationwide team and mentoring staff across the company.

In this full-time role, you’ll engage with agencies, stakeholders, and clients, overseeing design, evaluation, and optimization of treatment solutions while advancing regulatory compliance and industry-leading practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE registration is required and preferred for immediate responsibilities.
• Extensive knowledge of advanced water and wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience applying environmental regulatory frameworks across projects.
• Proven track record leading cross-disciplinary, nationwide teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead major consulting assignments in water treatment with expert-level technical direction.
• Oversee nationwide teams and mentor staff across multiple projects.
• Drive development of team competence, regulatory alignment, and best practices.
• Lead communications with agencies, partners, and clients to secure work.
• Ensure safety and quality across the full project lifecycle.
