Job summary

T&M Associates seeks a Principial Engineer to join our Water Market in a hybrid US-based role. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in planning, design, and construction administration of water, treatment, and distribution projects.

You will lead and manage drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater projects, provide design support for linear infrastructure upgrades, oversee construction, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of related experience in water process, treatment, and/or utility infrastructure projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• At least 2 years of project management experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D required.
• Experience with MS Office and MS Project (MS Access a plus).
• Strong communication and client-interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects related to drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
• Provide design support for linear water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer infrastructure upgrades.
• Oversee construction administration and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, studies, and project documentation.
• Track and manage financial performance of assigned projects.
• Coordinate workload and provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Participate in client meetings, ensuring strong communication and collaboration.
