Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Water Resources Practice Leader to drive nationwide strategy, technical excellence, and growth across all U.S. offices.

The role requires recognized leadership in flood risk mitigation, drought planning, urban stormwater, and restoration, with a strong record of mentoring engineers and building client relationships. Travel to support conferences, pursuits, and client meetings will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.
• 10+ years of experience in water resources is required.
• 2+ years of leadership experience leading teams or practice areas is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, technical direction, and growth of AE2S’s Water Resources Practice nationwide.
• Set and drive the national vision for water resources services across regions.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities, and market presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across water resources projects.
• Identify emerging water resources trends, regulations, and innovations and turn them into strategy.
• Support major pursuits and build strong client relationships.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff across offices.
