Job summary

Network Connex is seeking a National Warehousing & Facilities Manager to oversee operations across the company’s national footprint. You will own day-to-day warehouse and yard activities, align materials and facilities with active projects, and coordinate with field operations, procurement, logistics, and fleet to ensure readiness.

You will lead warehouse and facility managers in multiple regions, maintain safety and efficiency standards, and manage vendor relations and budget-aligned

Job Summary:

The National Warehousing & Facilities Manager is responsible for the execution, performance, and alignment of warehouse and facility operations across the company’s national footprint. This role operates with full ownership of day-to-day operations while leading warehouse and facility managers across multiple locations. The position ensures materials, equipment, and facilities are aligned with the needs of active projects through disciplined coordination with field operations, procurement, logistics, and fleet. This role maintains a direct working relationship with the Fleet Division to ensure equipment, trucks, and trailers are properly scheduled, maintained, and ready to support field operations

Job Duties and Responsibilities

National Warehouse & Yard Operations:

• Oversee daily operations across all warehouse and yard locations
• Lead and direct warehouse/facility managers in each region
• Coordinate receiving, staging, and outbound movement of materials
• Ensure consistency in execution, organization, and performance across all sites
• Align material readiness with construction schedules and field demand
• Maintain clean, efficient, and production-focused warehouse and yard environments

Facilities Management:

• Own the condition, performance, and functionality of all warehouse and yard facilities
• Direct facility managers in maintaining and improving site conditions
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements across all locations in a cost-conscious manner aligned with approved budgets and financial controls
• Ensure all facility-related expenditures receive appropriate review and approval prior to execution
• Actively evaluate and challenge vendor proposals, pricing, and scopes of work to ensure cost efficiency and minimize unnecessary spend
• Oversee setup and readiness of new facilities as operations expand
• Manage vendor relationships related to facility upkeep and services
• Ensure all facilities meet safety and operational standards

Fleet Coordination:

• Maintain ongoing coordination with the Fleet Division on:
• Maintenance scheduling
• Equipment readiness
• Asset availability and deployment
• Ensure alignment between warehouse operations and fleet logistics across all regions
• Track and communicate equipment status to minimize downtime and operational disruption

Field & Operational Alignment:

• Work directly with project managers and field leadership to anticipate material and equipment needs
• Ensure warehouse teams are aligned with project timelines and priorities
• Support mobilization and demobilization of projects across regions
• Adjust quickly to shifting priorities and project demands
• Resolve operational challenges in real time to keep production moving

Team Leadership & Accountability:

• Lead, develop, and hold accountable warehouse and facility managers across all locations
• Establish clear expectations, communication cadence, and performance standards
• Drive consistency in processes, execution, and site-level accountability
• Support hiring, training, and development of operational personnel

Role Characteristics:

• Warehouse and yard teams operate consistently and efficiently across all locations
• Facilities are maintained proactively and support operational demands
• Facility-related costs are controlled, justified, and aligned with budgets
• Fleet coordination results in high equipment availability and minimal downtime
• Field operations are consistently supported without delays or disruptions

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds
• This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, bending, as well as using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity
