Job summary

iDC Logistics Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics Supervisor to lead the primary warehouse operations and provide leadership across our network. You will drive daily performance, safety, and compliance while developing the team and adapting to other facilities as needed.

The role requires 5+ years of warehouse or logistics leadership, travel up to 40–50%, and expertise with warehouse management systems (Blue Yonder) and Excel for reporting. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct daily warehouse operations at your primary site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, operational procedures, and performance targets.
  • Travel to other company warehouses to provide leadership coverage, operational assessments and drive increased efficiency during peak times, special projects, company acquisitions, or leadership transitions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including accurate and on time shipments, labor cost per hour, and safety.
  • Ensure integrity of warehouse operations; to include receiving transactions, pick location maintenance, and physical inventories
  • Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions
  • Fulfill special client requests
  • Supervise and develop warehouse leads and associates, ensuring consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and oversee supervisory tasks associate with warehousing and distribution operations while coordinating with other departments and divisions.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, CTPAT, and all other regulations and guidelines.

Description

Position Summary

The Senior Logistics Supervisor is responsible for ensuring operational efficiency and compliance at your primary warehouse while also providing leadership and operational support to other facilities within our network. This is a unique role and involves leading teams of employees in a primary facility to achieve daily goals including productivity, problem resolution, outstanding customer service, safety protocols, and compliance, while training and developing the team for success. In addition, the role will require flexibility to travel as needed to other facilities for support, and the ability to adapt to varying operations and environments while effectively leading teams to overcome potential challenges and achieve operational goals.

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Must have at least 5 + years experience in warehouse or logistics leadership, preferably in a 3PL environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to40–50%of the time, including short-notice assignments.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Blue Yonder or similar) and Microsoft Excel for operational reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred - relatable experience in lieu of degree acceptable
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish.
Skills/Abilities
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills including ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams in high-volume, fast-paced operations and deliver results.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead effectively in unfamiliar environments.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust and maintain authority across diverse teams.
