Job summary

RWE Design Build is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead construction projects nationwide, with frequent onsite check-ins at the Downers Grove, IL headquarters. The role requires coordinating schedules, ensuring quality, and communicating with owners, architects, and subs to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ground-up construction, OSHA 30 certification, and proficiency with Procore, MS Office, and document management. Domestic travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a traveling superintendent.
• Ground-up construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 certified.
• Experience with Procore.
• Must have reliable transportation and mileage reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Understand plans, specs, site, codes, and inspection procedures.
• Coordinate and maintain construction schedules
• Ensure quality standards on site
• Lead meetings with subcontractors and coordinate activities
• Ensure timely material deliveries to sites
• Resolve conflicts with owners, architects and subs
• Maintain daily logs and progress reports
• Attend job meetings and inspections
• Prepare punch lists and coordinate closeouts
