Interstates is seeking an entry-level Safety Technician to join the National Traveling Construction Team. You will gain hands-on experience keeping sites safe and supporting field teams across the United States.

You will work with experienced Safety Managers and Directors, learning through audits, inspections, training support, and incident investigations, with opportunities for long-term growth in construction safety.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field or 1–2 years of safety/construction experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel 100% within the United States.
• Ability to track information, complete audits, and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Safety Director and Safety Managers in promoting a proactive safety culture on remote construction sites.
• Complete job-site safety audits and help identify and correct hazards.
• Verify that required safety equipment and supplies are on-site.
• Support weekly safety inspections, including documentation and reporting.
• Assist with accident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
• Participate in root-cause analyses and identify prevention opportunities.
• Assist with coordinating safety training and communications.
• Support first-aid readiness and training as assigned.
• Attend foreman, crew, and team safety meetings.
• Assist with project start-ups and plant shutdowns.
