Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a National Transportation Manager to lead and optimize the nationwide transport network across multiple sites and business units. You will oversee field operations, drive efficiency, and ensure strict safety and compliance standards are met while delivering reliable service in a healthcare context.

The role requires strong analytical and leadership skills, experience with DOT/HOS/DVIR, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Operations Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of transportation leadership experience across multiple sites.
Experience with route optimization, telematics, and business systems.
Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and DVIR.
Strong analytical, communication, and servant leadership skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

Provide field leadership and oversight across all Business Units and Transfer Stations.
Lead transportation improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, compliance, service performance, cost control, and productivity.
Monitor safety, DIFOT, missed service rates, route adherence, fleet utilization, and labor productivity.
Implement transportation initiatives with clear ownership, timelines, and accountability.
Support new business integration, route launches, fleet deployments, technology implementations, and site startups.
Partner with Fleet, Safety & Compliance, Finance, People & Culture, and Customer Service teams.
Build a culture of safety, accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
