Job summary

Gilbane Development Company is seeking a Senior Vice President – Senior Housing Development to lead and expand its national senior housing platform. This executive will drive strategic vision, build a high-performing development team, and oversee the identification, capitalization, and delivery of senior housing communities across the United States.

The role covers Active Adult, Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care, with initial focus on Utah, Texas, Florida, and Virginia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years of real estate experience.
• At least 10 years directly involved in senior housing development.
• Proven ability to originate, capitalize, and execute projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive national growth strategy for the senior housing platform.
• Lead sourcing, underwriting, capitalization, and execution of development opportunities nationwide.
• Oversee full development lifecycle from site selection to disposition or long-term ownership.
• Build and lead a national development team across multiple markets.
• Collaborate with capital markets and operations teams to optimize investments.
