Job summary
Gilbane Development Company seeks a Senior Vice President – Senior Housing Development to lead and expand its national senior housing platform. The role requires building a high-performing team, developing markets including Utah, Texas, Florida, and Virginia, and delivering integrated senior living campuses across care types.
Candidates should have at least 20 years in real estate with 10+ years in senior housing development, strong capital, strategic leadership, and the ability to partner with
Qualifications
- 20+ years in real estate with development, investment, and execution experience.
- 10+ years directly in senior housing development.
- Experience originating, capitalizing, and executing ground-up senior housing projects.
- Experience leading multi-market development teams and presenting to executives/investors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive national growth strategy for the senior housing platform.
- Lead sourcing, underwriting, entitlement, capitalization, and execution of opportunities nationwide.
- Oversee full development lifecycle including site selection, zoning, design, construction, leasing, and stabilization.
- Build and mentor a national development team and manage cross-functional relationships with capital markets, legal, and asset management.
- Represent Gilbane in industry forums and with institutional capital partners.
