Weyerhaeuser in Seattle seeks a forward-thinking procurement leader to shape category strategies across Wood Products and Timberlands. You will drive multimillion-dollar MRO and related spend, draft contracts, negotiate savings, and monitor supplier performance.
You will mentor teams, collaborate with stakeholders nationwide, and manage demand, pricing, and risk. The role requires a Bachelor's in supply chain and 8+ years of procurement in heavy industry; SAP experience is a plus.
You are a forward thinking, strategic procurement leader who has a passion for category management, sourcing suppliers, contract negotiations, implementing and analyzing metrics, managing supplier partnerships on a national level and performance improvement. You will play a critical role in partnering with our Wood Products and Timberlands businesses with initiatives, by executing the best procurement strategy. You are a leader who can influence indirect teams and other stakeholders to maximize procurement performance and minimize costs.
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to identify, plan, develop, and execute structured spend category strategies aligned to the Procurement Roadmap and business requirements. To be successful in this role, you will build relationships with key stakeholders, communicate and partner with all levels of the organization. You will need to be involved with and understand our current demand and replenishment practices. It is also expected that you will be well informed of changes in our industry that may impact our operational costs, customers, and products.

Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $106,900-$160,400 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
