Job summary
Skydio is seeking a leadership-focused Customer Support & Field Operations Leader for national security customers. You will guide remote and on-site teams, coach staff, and drive high first-contact resolutions while ensuring mission readiness and customer trust across Skydio drones and BVLOS solutions.
In this role you will collaborate with engineers, program managers, and CRM teams to optimize support, improve processes, and enable rapid, data-driven decisions in a fast-changing defense
Qualifications
- 5+ years of customer support leadership experience with KPI ownership.
- 5+ years of defense/federal government work relevant to UAS.
- 2+ years leading teams handling hardware, software and cloud products.
- Proven ability to coach and develop remote teams.
Responsibilities
- Guide daily customer interactions to successful resolutions and mission effectiveness.
- Own operational customer satisfaction, team productivity, engagement and growth.
- Coach teams to deliver low-effort customer experiences remotely and on-site.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mission-readiness for government customers.
- Improve processes, policies, and CRM efficiency to enhance customer experience.
- Gain product knowledge through frequent use of Skydio products for meaningful interactions.
