Job summary

HunaTek seeks a Planning Officer to support the National Guard Bureau's J3/4/7 Operations Directorate, focusing on NSSE activities and DHS SEAR 2+ events. The contractor will collaborate with federal civilian and military staff to forecast, analyze, and integrate trends into defense plans.

Required are US citizenship, a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and a Bachelor’s or higher degree in public administration, business, social science, or related field.

Job description

Position Summary

This is a requirement to provide the necessary level of professional, technical and program management support required to facilitate the overall objectives of the National Guard Bureau’s (NGB) J3/4/7 Operations Directorate. The Future Operations Division activities include support to Deliberate Operations Branch for disaster operations, complex catastrophes, and the spectrum of special events through predicting, analyzing, and incorporating trends into defense and interagency plans and NGB activities. The Contractor will provide Planning Officer services for National Special Security Events (NSSE), and Special Events with a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Special Events Assessment Rating (SEAR) of 2 or higher.
