Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to provide onsite support at the Mark Center in Virginia.

The role involves evaluating mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other business arrangements that impact defense industry national security and industrial base. The candidate will assist the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Global Investment and Economic Security (DASW-GIES) in identifying risk, mitigation options, and

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or general business with economics/antitrust coursework.
• 5+ years of total experience, with 2+ years in national security or commercial finance.
• Able to work fully onsite based on client needs.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support the DASW for GIES by evaluating mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other arrangements affecting the defense industry.
• Assess effects on national security, industrial base, innovation and cost savings.
• Develop risk mitigation options and monitor for compliance of consent decrees.
