Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks a Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to support the DASW for Global Investment and Economic Security (GIES) in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, teaming agreements, and joint ventures affecting the defense industry.

This position is onsite at the Mark Center. The analyst will assess impacts on national security, the industrial base, innovation and cost savings, and assist in developing mitigation options and monitoring for compliance with consent

Qualifications

8+ years of total experience with 4+ years supporting national security or commercial finance.
Bachelor's degree in finance or general business with economics/antitrust policy coursework.
Experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, or defense industry analysis.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
Able to work onsite based on client needs.
Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

Support DASW for GIES in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, teaming agreements, and joint ventures between firms affecting the defense industry.
Evaluate effects on national security, industrial base, innovation, and cost savings; develop risk mitigation options.
Monitor compliance of consent decrees and support DoW directives.
