Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA or the Pentagon.

You will develop risk analysis tools, ingest data from public and commercial sources, and create dashboards to support DoW leadership on critical industrial and security topics. Ideal candidates have a STEM degree, 5+ years of data science experience, proficiency in R/Python, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, data science, or other STEM disciplines.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience applying data science techniques including ML and visualization.
• Programming competency in R, Python, or other languages for large datasets.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and onsite work as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop risk mitigation options and monitor compliance for investigations.
• Analyze outbound investment and global financial trends.
• Build tools and automated data streams using Python, R, or SQL.
• Design dashboards with Tableau/Power BI for real-time indicators.
