Sunriver Resort seeks a National Sales Manager to connect organizations with our destination offerings. The role focuses on booking business within assigned segments, building strong client relationships, and supporting AAA Four Diamond standards. Remote work flexibility is noted, with a Pacific Northwest location preferred.

The ideal candidate will bring proven resort sales experience, a track record of closing deals, and the ability to coordinate site tours and events to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Must have resort sales experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four year degree preferred.
• Three to five years sales experience preferred.
• One year hospitality experience preferred.
• One year customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Books profitable business for the resort.
• Solicits potential sales leads and prospects for new business opportunities.
• Contacts clients to sell special amenities and/or extras to enhance their stay.
• Establishes strong rapport with clientele; maintains communication prior to resort stay.
• Maintains strong client base within assigned market segment.
• Participates in industry related organizations.
• Works to book repeat business; maintains contact with clients to determine needs.
• Communicates effectively with resort staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Coordinates and conducts site tours for booked and potential guests.
• Assists in producing sales contracts.
• Participates in community/civic activities to create booking opportunities.
• Participates in trade shows; executes sales plan to exceed goals.
• Maintains awareness of hospitality trends; reviews guest feedback to ensure satisfaction.

The National Sales Manager is responsible for successfully booking business within the assigned segments. S/he will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with current and prospective business. The Sales Manager will assist in maintaining the AAA Four Diamond Standards.

Responsibilities

• Books profitable business for the resort

• Actively participates in industry related organizations
• Consistently works to book repeat business
• Maintains close contact with clients to determine needs, expectations, etc.
• Communicates effectively with resort staff to ensure smooth delivery of all services
• Coordinates and conducts site tours for booked and potential guests
• Assists in producing sales contracts
• Actively participates in community/civic activities to maintain awareness within community and to create booking opportunities
• Participates in geographically appropriate trade shows
• Executes sales plan to exceed goals
• Maintains strong awareness of hospitality trends
• Reviews guests' feedback through Revinate to ensure continual guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Four year degree preferred
• At least three to five years sales experience preferred
• At least one year hospitality experience preferred
• At least one year customer service experience preferred

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

• Must have valid Oregon drivers license and meet company driving standards
• Must be able to work well under pressure
• Must be able to work with high level of accuracy
• Must be extremely detail orientated
• Must have the ability to analyze and close business
• Must have strong solicitation, account profile and qualification skills
• Must have strong knowledge of the sales process
• Must possesses excellent communication skills
