Job summary

BBB National Programs in McLean, VA is seeking a Manager, National Partner & Business Development to support the Director in strategic growth initiatives and strengthen relationships with National Partners. The role focuses on partner retention, engagement, and driving new business opportunities to expand the program.

The ideal candidate is organized, articulate, and adept at building a robust network of contacts to advance BBB National Programs' mission.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in account management, partnership management, or business development.
• Strong relationship management and client service skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot).

Responsibilities

• National Partner Retention & Engagement: manage National Partners, ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Business Development Support: build pipeline, research targets, prepare proposals and outreach materials.
• Value Proposition & Program Integration: articulate value and align partner interests.
• Events & Sponsorship Support: plan events and sponsorships, ensure partner representation.
• Internal Collaboration & Operations: collaborate with marketing, program teams, and leadership; manage CRM records and reporting.
