Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a senior Medical Affairs professional to deliver evidence-based health economic and clinical information for national accounts. You will lead medical strategy, coordinate with Market Access and FMA, and collaborate with MML and other stakeholders to inform payer policies.

The role requires 60–80% travel across national accounts, PBMs, IDNs, and federal markets, with a focus on education, population health, and remote engagement platforms.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required; Doctoral preferred in Pharmacy, Medicine, Biological Sciences, Health Services Research or Public Health.
• Minimum 7+ years in managed care or related pharma experience; 1–2+ years in MML or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based healthcare economic and clinical information demonstrating value to national accounts.
• Lead development and execution of medical strategy for national accounts.
• Communicate payer coverage changes to FMA and downstream accounts.
• Collaborate with national payer stakeholders for education and patient outcomes.
• Lead remote customer engagement projects and Payer aligned platforms.
• Build relationships with national healthcare decision makers and share market insights.
