Job summary

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Maintenance and Support System Process Engineer for a national, multi-plant role. The engineer will audit, train, and develop action plans across sites, exercising independent judgement to implement best practices in maintenance and support systems.

Responsibilities include project management, facilitating improvements, and driving Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives to reduce costs and uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years in Process Manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with Maintenance and Support systems for EPS production.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement preferred.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Audit, train, and develop action plans for Maintenance and Support Systems.
• Support action plans through project management and facilitation.
• Lead and collaborate with plant-level personnel to share best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce maintenance spend, improve utility efficiency, and uptime.
• Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Support CMMS optimization and system enhancements.
• Develop and improve processes to prevent system and equipment errors.
• Travel up to 75% of the time.
