Job summary

Atlas Molded Products is seeking a Maintenance and Support System Process Engineer to work across our multiple plants, applying best practices to maintenance systems and driving process improvements. You will audit, train, develop action plans, and support their execution through project management and facilitation, exercising independent judgment in operational enhancements.

The role requires collaboration with plant and regional staff, data-driven analyses, and the ability to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in process improvement and cost reductions.
• Experience with Maintenance and Support systems related to EPS production.
• Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; on-the-job experience with thermodynamic operations, boiler/steam systems, or blowing agent abatement.
• 10+ years’ experience in Process Manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Audit and train sites on Maintenance and Support Systems.
• Develop action plans and manage projects to implement improvements.
• Lead process improvement sessions with plant teams and mentor interns.
• Support Lean, 5S, and CI initiatives to reduce maintenance spend and improve uptime.
• Communicate changes to facility personnel and provide training to operations teams.
