Job summary

GSA is seeking an IT Specialist (Infrastructure Facilities) to support cross-agency IT initiatives. You will provide expert technical guidance and project leadership for nationwide network hardware and software upgrades, ensuring system integrity and performance.

Qualifications

• IT Competencies required including ability to provide guidance and leadership on complex IT projects.
• Experience in planning, implementing, and coordinating agency-wide IT infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a senior IT expert on complex, high-difficulty projects and provides guidance to IT staff and management.
• Leads meetings with industry and other agencies to resolve issues and establish standards; provides project leadership on nationwide IT services.
• Plans and integrates agency-wide network hardware/software upgrades and maintains infrastructure performance.
• Identifies customer needs, analyzes system requirements, and mentors lower-graded staff to complete IT tasks and projects.
• Serves as COR FAC II or higher, monitors contractor performance, and supports procurement activities.
