Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking a National Manager to lead inventory and warehousing across all locations. The role standardizes processes, optimizes stock levels, and drives cost-aware efficiency.

You will partner with Procurement, Operations, Finance and IT to ensure accuracy and availability while reducing excess inventory. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in inventory/warehousing with strong leadership, analytics, and ERP experience (SAP/Procore).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, Lean Six Sigma are an advantage.
• 8-12+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, or operations.
• 5+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Experience managing multiple warehouse locations or a national operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national inventory management strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish inventory policies, procedures, controls, and performance standards across all locations.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counting and reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory levels, turns, aging, obsolete stock, and shortages.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and IT.
• Standardize warehouse processes, layouts, and operating procedures.
• Optimize receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping workflows.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards for inventory and warehouse performance.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S methodologies.
