Job summary

Apex Infrastructure Solutions seeks a General Manager to establish and lead nationwide perimeter security and related infrastructure operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
• Demonstrated success developing and growing a line of business through strategic business development and market expansion.
• Ability to work independently, make sound business decisions, and build a new operation from the ground up.
• Proven experience managing multiple field crews and projects with safety and productivity in union/non-union/apprenticeship environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall growth, profitability, and operational success of the business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial, industrial, municipal, utility, DOT, and general contractor customers.
• Collaborate with estimating and leadership to pursue bids and secure new business.
• Oversee union fencing operations, ensuring projects are on schedule and within budget.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to build a high-performing team as the operation grows.
• Establish processes, performance expectations, and accountability across the business.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, labor, equipment, and financial performance.
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA and client safety compliance.
