Job summary

Apex Infrastructure Solutions seeks a General Manager to lead nationwide operations, drive growth, and manage a diverse portfolio of perimeter security projects. You will build relationships, pursue bids, and guide estimates while developing a scalable organization through strategic hiring and training.

The role requires extensive travel, strong leadership, and a track record of profitability and safety compliance across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction, infrastructure, or related industries, with fencing/perimeter security experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and grow a line of business through strategic development and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall growth, profitability, and operational success of the business.
• Develop and maintain relationships with commercial, industrial, municipal, utility, DOT, and general contractor customers.
• Partner with estimating and leadership to pursue bids, proposals, and new business.
• Oversee all union fencing operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to standards.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to build a high-performing team and grow the operation.
• Establish processes, performance expectations, and accountability across the business.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, labor, equipment, and financial performance.
• Champion safety culture and ensure OSHA and company safety compliance.
